Evangelin Achusiogu is a registered nurse with a passion for education in all of its forms, a characteristic evidenced by her crucial role as one of the founders and teachers of the Igbo Cultural School of South Australia. Furthermore, she regularly volunteers to teach the liturgy to the youth at her local church. In terms of education, she has a Doctor of Optometry degree and a Masters of Clinical Nursing and these degrees have equipped her with transferable skills which make her someone who has no difficulty adapting to rapidly-changing situations.
Additionally, her experiences in education have enabled her to have the ability to be flexible, understanding and compassionate and have imbued her with the necessary skills for leadership.
ACH Foundation was born out of the desire to promote equity both one person at a time as well as one community at a time.
